نعى المؤتمر الشعبي أحد قياداته المعروفين الدكتور سليمان حامد حميد والذي توفى اليوم بمستشفى يونيفرسال. جاء في النعي :
بسم االه الرحمن الرحيم
يقول الله تعالى (وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُمْ بِشَيْءٍ مِّنَ الْخَوفْ وَالْجُوعِ وَنَقْصٍ مِّنَ الأَمَوَالِ وَالأنفُسِ وَالثَّمَرَاتِ وَبَشِّرِ الصَّابِرِينَ الَّذِينَ إِذَا أَصَابَتْهُم مُّصِيبَةٌ قَالُواْ إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ أُولَئِكَ عَلَيْهِمْ صَلَوَاتٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ وَرَحْمَةٌ وَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُهْتَدُونَ) صدق الله العظيم
*يحتسب الأمين العام للمؤتمر الشعبي الدكتور/ علي الحاج محمد، ورئيس هيئة الشورى الشيخ/ إبراهيم محمد السنوسي، ونواب الأمين العام وأعضاء الأمانة العامة، وقيادات وقواعد المؤتمر الشعبي داخل السودان وخارجه
عند الله تعالى *الراحل المقيم القيادي بالمؤتمر الشعبي، الدكتور/ سليمان حامد حميد
والذي إنتقل إلى رحمة مولاه مساء اليوم الاثنين ٢٠ فبراير ٢٠٢٣م إثر وعكة صحية لزم على إثرها الفراش الأبيض بمستشفى يونفرسال، أثابه الله أجرها بقدر ما صبر على الابتلاء.
المؤتمر الشعبي إذ يحتسبه عند الله تعالى وينعيه، فإنه يحتسب أخاً كريماً مخلصاً وفياً صادقاً، نذر حياته لخدمة الدعوة منذ بواكير صباه، جاهد في سبيل الله من أجلها إعلاءً لراية الإسلام، وهو من الذين سعوا لنيل الشهادة منذ أن كان طالباً في المرحلة الجامعية في سبعينيات القرن الماضي.
كان الفقيد رمزاً للوفاء، والصدق والتفاني، لم تقعده شواغل الحياة ولا أغراض الدنيا عن خدمة الإسلام والمسلمين، داخل وخارج السودان، يعد الراحل من آلافذاذ القلائل الذين جاهدوا بالقلم وبالبندقية، فكما دافع عن دعوته مقاتلاً، فقد سطّر لها فصول الانتقال في الحياة السياسية والفكرية، وأسهم فيها مفكراً ومثقفاً في ميادين العلم والمعرفة.
ظل الراحل متمسكاً بعهده داعياً إلى ربه حتي لقي ربه صابراً محتسباً.
نسأل الله أن يتقبله في جنات الخلد مع الصديقين والشهداء والصالحين، وأن يجعل البركة في ذريته، زوجه وأبنائه وآله وعشيرته، وإخوانه في المسيرة القاصدة إلى الله، وأن يصبرهم الله جميعاً، على فقده الجلل.
